The Regional Support Centers are regionally-based organizations supporting the delivery of Faithful Footprints through outreach and engagement, project assistance, and relationship building. 

Our Regional Support Centres, Ecology Action Centre, Purpose Construction, Newo Global Energy, and our program’s delivery partner Faith & the Common Good offer several free and paid services to help you along your project journey, from conception to completion. Support includes project consultations, energy and green audits, funding and grant research, feasibility studies, environmental engagement, installation services, and contracting assistance


Western Regional Support Centre

Newo Global Energy is a non-profit social enterprise exploring ways to share abundance (wêyôtan) through harmonious relationships (wahkohtowin) and to build an economy based on more than scarcity and competition. Newo specializes in solar PV design and installation, energy audits, skills training, and community education.

Purpose Construction is a non-profit contracting company providing trades training and employment to marginalized people in our community; Indigenous peoples, people transitioning from the justice system, refugees, and newcomer Canadians. Purpose Construction offers energy efficiency services at competitive rates within Winnipeg, and is approved by Manitoba Hydro as a supplier for their PowerSmart Programs.

Faith & the Common Good (FCG) is a national, interfaith charitable network dedicated to assisting and inspiring religious congregations and spiritual groups of all backgrounds to take collective action in creating more sustainable communities. The organization works with local faith-based, environmental, municipal, Indigenous, and community partners across the country to host a wide variety of practical, educational, and spiritual programs that encourage: faith building energy efficiency; the re-purposing of surplus places of worship; faith sector support for clean energy; interfaith climate justice; and increased support for our climate-vulnerable neighbors. FCG is also the Faithful Footprints delivery partner for The United Church of Canada.

Atlantic Regional Support Centre

The Ecology Action Centre is a member-based environmental charity in Nova Scotia. The Centre engages the community to create systemic change in the face of urgent, complex environmental issues. Their Energy & Climate Team seeks to phase out the use of fossil fuels in Nova Scotia and strives for an electricity system that is clean, reliable, and affordable. The Centre takes action by analyzing and advocating for effective policy, research, piloting solutions, and building a coalition of diverse groups that share our vision for a just transition to zero-carbon energy in Nova Scotia.
